Founded in 2016 in Telangana by Dr. Srinivas Rao Madhavaram, a medical doctor, alongside Mr. Chandra Shekar Rao and Mr. Prasad Rao, Deccan Exotics is a farmer-led initiative rooted in the agricultural community. Established to address the challenges faced by farmers in Telangana and semi-arid regions of Central India, the Deccan Exotics Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), formed in 2020, supports over 3,500 farmers across 23 states. By introducing high-value horticulture crops like dragon fruit, avocado, and macadamia to Indian markets on a commercial scale, we empower farmers to achieve economic viability and sustainable growth.
